We have the new contest entries for July up.  The challenge was to take a creative picture of your Gothard Sisters collection and we got some great picture entries.  The winner will get a signed dance shoe.  :)

Head on over to the contests page to vote on your favorite picture.

Good luck to all the contestants!

We're working on a new song today... if you come to the Lacey concert in the park tomorrow night you may get to hear and see it!  Get the info on Lacey.
What kind of song do you think we could be working on?

Hey everybody!
There are some changes here on the website.  First of all, I'll be writing the latest news posts here on the blog rather than the front page, and all the photos and videos will be confined to the photos and videos pages, just to keep the front page from getting too cluttered.

Anyway, last weekend was a great one for shows.  We first performed at the Redmond City Hall for the second time (we also performed there for the Redmond Lights festival in December, when it was considerably colder and our toes were frozen, haha!) and did an hour-long set for the derby days festival.  The weather was great and we had a good time with some new and old numbers and lots of very attentive kids in the front.  I've added some great shots from the event that were taken by Samuel Lin to the photos page.  You should check them out, he got some great ones!  See the rest of the photos here.
After the festival in Redmond we had to pack quickly and head down to Chehalis, where we played at the beautiful wedding ceremony of our friends Hannah and Nick.  Hannah was a member of the dance team we were on when we placed 2nd at the Worlds in Glasgow, so she'd incorporated a lot of Irish themes and Irish dancing into her wedding ceremony!  It was great fun and a very joyful occasion.

Anyway, stay tuned for more updates!  In the meantime, have you entered the July contest?  If not, then WHY NOT?  Find out how to enter right here.

Here is the winning video for the June contest.  Stephen, Judah and Moses from Pennsylvania shot and edited this awesome fan music video for Willow's Waltz from Story Girl.
What do you think??
The three of them won a signed Story Girl CD and music video DVD.
Congratulations!
